Bought a tripod with a iPhone 📱 holder. Used it to take 🎬 the weekly photos of the plants 🪴. Used the timer ⏱ function to get steady shots. Can tell the difference now with the tripod! Update : going to redo weekly photos tomorrow because when I used the timer function, the non flash shots get automatically bursted by iOS which gets deleted when I try to sterilize the photos in EXIF remover.

EQUIPMENT PURCHASE: Got a “60X” magnifier that attaches to phone 📱 like the method seven filter. It is a pain in the ass to keep steady. As of this post, the best method for taking photos of trichomes is to record video while saying the name of the plant 🪴 as a marker then go back to photos and “try” to pick out a good frame 🖼. After you found a good frame, zoom into the in focus trichomes and take a screenshot.

In order to fight the humidity caused by the plants 🪴 respiring (spikes up to low 60’s), I increased fan speed to level 4. Seems to happen when a while after I water 💦. Tested airflow and meter tested at 8.5 mph. Based on 6 inch duct, calculates to 587.48 CFM. Below the 600 CFM limit of the carbon filter. Can always add the second one ☝️ 😐. Writing ✍️ this log entry while looking at control corner and noticed the inkbird showing 53.7% and the Cloudline showing 55%😕. Will try to orient air conditioner to see if that helps. May try to add vent box to intake to see if that helps. Will also lower inkbird controller to 45%.

Finally asked community forum for help and shout out to canagen for tipping me off on wind 💨 burn. Raised both fans and lowered speed back down to low. Thinking 🤔 about putting fans at bottom and blow upwards not down like the time of this log. Would probably help keep temperature and humidity levels from getting too high.
Note
Rearranged fans. Since I decided to play the wind 💨 burn card with Jack Herer, I rearranged one ☝️ of the fans on the bottom front pole blowing across and up. Watered 💦 with half teaspoon molasses and 10ml kelp extract. PH adjusted to 5.5. TDS ppm 106. Going to water 💦 everyday until I transplant on Wednesday. Jack Herer runoff TDS was 1000 ppm with a PH of 6.54. Sweet Tooth runoff TDS was 768 ppm with a PH of 6.71.

Came home from work and the temperature was too high and the soil was too dry. Started freezing water 💦 jugs to cycle in hot days and will water 💦 everyday until transplant on Wednesday.
Note
Recalibrated PH pen. Took pictures before calibration to show deviation and after to show calibration.
Note
Figured out the best place to put the carbon dioxide monitor is near the intake vent. Levels are fluctuating in the 700 - 800’s!

Finally bought a CO2 monitor. Came in today. Had no idea what the carbon dioxide levels were in the grow tent or the room. Was watching the levels fluctuate in the 400 - 500 ppm levels sometimes rising to 800’s, 900’s, or 1000’s. Put the monitor in the tent and took a bong hit and came back to take a picture and saw the levels were at 1062 ppm! Will obviously continue to monitor the levels and if they stay this high then lights can be lowered and nutrients can be increased!
Note
Plants 🌱 seem to have perked back up. Took some pictures with and without lights before going to work since yesterday’s day off pictures taken at lights out shows plants 🌱 grumpy. Need to water 💦 more often since plants 🌱 are ready to be transplanted.

Took photos on day off at lights out. Plants 🌱 seem to be droopy. Starting to drink a lot of water 💦. Will probably transplant into 5 gallon air pots next week on day off. Will continue to water 💦 with Vegamatrix Vegetative recipe week 4 half strength with half a teaspoon of molasses and 10ml kelp extract.
Note
Watered 💦 both plants 🌱 Vegamatrix Vegetative Recipe week 4 half strength. 1/2 teaspoon molasses, 10ml kelp extract. Initial PH was 7.06. Adjusted to 5.87 to 5.91. Initial TDS was 828 ppm. Sweet Tooth runoff TDS was 1680 with PH of 7.03. Jack Herer runoff TDS was 2206 ppm with a PH of 6.93. Lowered lights💡💡 to 515 PPFD. Trying to get Sweet Tooth in a better mood.

Checked soil moisture with probe and decided to water(1 gallon )💦 with the following formula:
Vegamatrix Vegetative Recipe week 4 half strength. 1/2 teaspoon molasses, 10ml kelp extract. Initial PH was 7.09. Adjusted to 6.01. Fucked up the tds meter by locking the calibration mode. Initial reading was 685 ppm. Had to take out battery and I think I lost the calibration so I took a baseline reading of 746 ppm.

Note
Raised and ran both lights 💡💡 all the way back up. Measured 437 PPFD at canopy height in middle of light💡. Was 392 PPFD right before moving lights. An increase of 45 PPFD. Korona light calculator calculated 28.3 DLI which lies within optimal range for vegative phase. Saw temperature start to rise so I started running both fans and took a picture to monitor grow tent temperature.

Vegamatrix starter kit came in. Visually looked at the soil in both plants 🌱 and top seems dry. Planning on doing a probe check when I get off work tomorrow. Thinking 🤔 about starting Vegamatrix feeding schedule at 50% with same concentration of molasses.
Note
After watching a YouTube video from 420scene https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UkBYgmNqQhc, lowered humidity to 60%. Person said plant 🌱 leaves would wilt at higher humidity levels and I think that might be the problem with Jack Herer.

Cut off two top largest fan leaves on both plants which were shading out bottom growth. Took pictures right after to start monitoring growth. Kept the fan leaves and stuck them into big Humana insurance book and pressed them down. Ordered Method Seven Catalyst camera filter. Works great 👍🏼 just like my glasses 👓. It was an impulse buy since it was payday💰 and it was only $30. I figured I would use it all the time documenting on this app. Plants 🌱 have been growing very well. Becoming a believer in the greengo LED lights💡 I have. And I am only using one ☝️ for now making the camera filter and grow light 💡 glasses 👓 a long term item.

Topped both plants 🌱 22:00 🕙. Decided to top a week earlier than planning because I want SHORT BUSHY plants. Bought cuticle nippers from target to use as trimmers. Took pictures to start topping shock monitoring. Also bought clear tape to make new pot labels 🏷 that don’t smear and to wrap around syringes because ink graduation lines were starting to rub off.
Note
Woke up to find humidity levels in between 30 and 40 %. Humidifier ran out of water and thermal cutoff protector engaged. Ran exhaust out into front room causing humidity levels to drop lower than normal. Used humidifier downtime for cleaning and other unscheduled maintenance. Heating element had more calcium lime buildup than I thought it would have since rodi water 💦 comes out at 2 ppm. Also steam tower discoloring LoL 😂. Running the fucking thing constantly since December 27. Humidifier is an essential piece of equipment to keep grow tent climate controlled.

When I came home after going out after transplanting, I noticed both plants were drooping. Started taking pictures to monitor transplant shock recovery.
Note
Transplanted both plants into 1 gallon containers of Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Put paper towels over bottom on insides to block holes. Finished at around 13:30 half hour before lights out. Rearranged lights so right light it centered in the middle. Rearranged the now 1 gallon pots onto main saucers and spaced pots centered under right centered light. Watered heavily down middle of pots where the plants are.
