Took a soil pH meter reading, on the low side, 5.9. Adjusted feedwater to just under 6.55 to try and bump that up some. Pushed a gallon through her generated about 20 oz of runoff, pH tested to 6.32.

Thinking some of the issues I am seeing on T1-BPP could be light related so decided to bump all lights down a notch to 7. So for this girl, lights are now at 22”, DLI 44.9.

I’m concerned about what I’m seeing in the leaves so took a pH meter reading this morning, registered 6.0, maybe a little low in flower. I decided it would be good to verify by testing some runoff. She’s ready for a drink so I gave her a gallon of water, pH 6.81, generating about 16 oz of runoff. Tested runoff pH to 6.67. Bringing her out in normal room lighting, she doesn’t look too bad. This soaking likely pushed more from that top dressing into the soil. Will consider more Epsom salt next watering.

More thoughts on the tip burn issue, two possibilities. It could be that adding the Fishshit freed up more of the nutrients in the somewhat hot soil mix and I’m seeing some nitrogen burn. I think this the most likely issue so I’m stopping the FS for now. The other consideration, it could just be light burn. She is sitting in the middle of the tent so is getting the most light. And I note I decided to bump up the lights anyway. I may move her to one side but will watch for another day or two. I would like her to appreciate that extra light and explode as she stretches. Love my Double Grape…

Considering that this popped up after I started the FishShit, thinking that might be making the nitrogen in the soil more available so will stop that for a while.
