Day 73 of flower!!! Any day now! I ordered a jewelers loupe and will be here tomorrow. I'll be able to get a better look at these trichs. They are looking a bit cloudy than clear but it could be my vision and the pics cat do any justice. More to come!

The size of the nugs on average about 1" wide and 1" tall. The largest ones are 1.5" wide and a 1.5" tall. They do feel very dense. Can't wait for Harvest day!

Kolas are frosting nicely, they are tigh & compact nugs so far. About quarter size in diameter. Super fragrant and sticky.

Weather is really cooling down now. Gets down to about 70 degrees in the tent while lights are off during the day and about 80 with lights on overnight.

About 1/4 of the flowers have begun showing crystals/trichs and have a very sweet pine smell as well. Kolas are Looking more compact and structured than my first grow attempt already. Only time will tell if I do notice improvements from my last grow. And thats the whole point of it anyway. Learn and apply it to the next improving everytime.

I have another set of fans delivering today that will be blowing air in the tent for additional ventilation and cooling.

Mama plant is doing really good! Growing extremely quickly. I will he adding another layer trellis net to spread these branches out to fill the box space better. I also lowered the light setting to low, since I still see a few curved/ coiled leaves at the tallest braches. At least I know my new grow lights are exceeding expectations.

Hot day! 98 degrees outside. Inside Tent temp is 83 degrees with fans on. Temp has never exceeded about 84 degrees while having the fans on.

Another hot day, outside temp at 91 degrees here highest today. Kept an eye on the thermostat and once the temp inside reached 81.5 the fans kicked on. Took about 20 minutes to get back to 80 degrees. LED Lights are off in the tent during the day to limit the heat in the tent when temps out side are lower at night.

Inside tent temp: 80 degrees with fans on, lights off.
Outise temp: 90 degrees
RH: 55% - 70%

Nota

One fan on the side blowing hot air out, One fan on top of the lights and blowing hot air up and out through the vent hole on top of the tent.
After overnight, the thermostat never went over 78 degrees! That's even cooler temp than when I tried it for just one hour only reaching about 85 degrees. I'm glad the fans are working to get rid of the hot air caused by the new lights. Also dimmed the lights just a tad bit, noticed some curling on some leafs. Everything else on this mama plant looks great! I'm really happy I get a second chance with her.

Nota

Going to get another set of the same fans (they can be daisy chained!) And will focus on targeting fresh air in. Currently only pushing hot air out with limited airflow. The second set will also help with controlling the humidity. Slowly dialing in these tent conditions.

Got the new fans and temp switch delivered today. Test it out a bit to see if they would work. While the lights are off, highest temp in the tent is 75 degrees. While having the lights on for 1 hour and Temps reached aver 95 degrees without the fans. After setting up the fans, the highest temp the tent reached was 85 degrees. Going to test fully overnight and see if it does keep it cooler by blasting out the hot air while blowing cold air in.

Day two of new LED lights and mama is growing so fast.

New lights are generating quite a but of heat inside the tent. Looks like Temps reaches 92 degrees at the highest. I've got some inline/ outline fans coming in today to hopefully cool down. Along with the fans, I've got temperature control switch to turn on and off the fans within the programed temperatures. Excited to get that installed later today.

It comes with great sadness to share that the top harvest of this skywalker OG plant did not make it 😢😔😭
with record highs of 105 degree weather for 4 days, and I got hit with covid at the same time, I could not tend nor save my batch. It was a good practice run. Let's do it again soon but with 10x the effort. If I can't make it work, will have to try and grow in another time of my life.

I have the bottom of mama plant still going, although, this far along, I doubt that it's worth keeping it alive. It's time to clean out tent #2 and prepare for plant baby/ clone Jane to move in as she begins her preflowering stage. Working on improving the tent for lighting, air flow, and better nutrients.

This is now clone #7(Julius) & clone #8 (Cesar)

For next time, because I've had to "rescue" so many branches that have fallen behind than the rest of the plant/ canopy of the plant so thus 8 clones have been the result.
Scrog and a wider grow tent is the next step for the next grow cycle. The height is ok so far, just need more wide room to make sure I get more light distribution to the lower branches. I think my trimming/ foliage has gone fine. She has been handful keeping up with all the big extra fan leaves. Seem like the rest of the top of this mother plant is going well now in the 7th week of flowering. 🤞🏽 getting close!

LTS has been helping, minimally though. She is a tiny beast! I've tried to keep branches similar lengths buy I'm still learning along the way. Definitely going to work on a scrog for next plant in line.

Today we see even more buds beginning to change color. I've adjusted branches as best as I can so there is light going to lower branches. Some side lighting will be necessary for future plants. There is still about 4 or 5 small branches at the base of the plant that ate still veg/ preflower. She has about three stages on her. Flower, preflower, and veg. Lots to work on for next set up. Nonetheless, this plant has been super sturdy and resistant through this whole grow so far, she is beautiful and healthy!

Removed her lower branches and are now clones (3 clones)
There are a lot of baby braches still growing but in Vegetative! So I may have to chop the top when the flowers are ready and keep the lower branches to mature and flower 🌼. We shall see!

I added a rim of mylar around the planter to help reflect light on those lower branches and it seems to be working. It's been about 3 days and those braches have almost caught up to the other top branches. She is looking great!

Nota

Did a little DIY watering line with some yarn and a cup of water. This is after a day, she drank up a whole cup! And that was after 1 liter of water and nutes. This cup of water also helps keep up with the humidity levels. They were too low in the 30s and 40s. Now we are back at 60%-70% humidity. Really hot weather coming up, the highest so far in the tent is about 85 degrees. For outdoors, not too bad.

Last and final trim for the mama plant. She is filling out the grow tent beautifully! Starting to see very small cluster/ flower forming. Exciting.

Nota

Noticed some of the bottom branches struggling to get some light, after the trimming, I evelevated the plant by about 5 inches closer to the light. Now the light is about 10 inches above the plant instead of 15 inches. Hopefully this will help those lower branches grow more with more light hitting them.

Gave her nutrients 10 days ago and was going to switch from. Ferilizer spikes to water soluble instant feedings but I'm going to hold off on that. Going to continue to use the spikes if needed at all for the rest of this plant's life cycle since she is doing so well, no need to change anything. I added nutrients to my baby Alien OG when I transplanted 4 days ago and she is showing some burning so another reason to hold off on changing or adding anymore nutrients at this time. Flushed out Alien OG and transplanted again.

Overnight with the tie downs (LST). Other shoots are slowly starting to pop up from beneath. Currently sitting at about 18 inches across with the tie downs. She is reacting well.
The clone babies have been sent off to their new home where they will be reunited with their "uncle/aunt" plant lol!!! It will be with my mama plants sibling and will be an outdoor plant. I wish them well and om sure I will get to it around again in another form! Lol

Upgrade day! Working on upsize her grow tent. She is now about 21 inches now and has about 2 inches left above the light! She has outgrown in height and all the way around. This will be the start to her new light cycle.

Added 10 inches to the top of my grow tent since she didn't have anymore room to grow on top! She is 21 inches tall today! Clones babies are doing great but they completely depend on the dome environment. Tried to take them off for a day and they deteriorated very quickly just overnight. So until further notice the clones are under a dome even after they go to their new home hopefully this week.

Day#4 since taking two clones. The big clone started to respond two days ago and now the little one seems to be responding a little as well. Mama plant is doing very well. Clones will be going to their new home in about a week.

Nota

Not growing too much at the top anymore after topping. Starting to see the lower leaves take off into shoots and more leaves and branches developing and growing each day. All the leaves look healthy. Watering and misting every two or 3 days depending on the moisture in the soil.

After topping my precious plant, from 16 inches to about 14 inches, now there is more light coming down to the the smaller leaves. I also took a few leaves/ foliage. Crossing fingers she bounces back!

she is getting so tall each day! Now the grow lights are about 8 inches above the tip of the plant. I'm going to run out of room in a week! But also I just identified the sex of the plant so surely I will need to change light too 12/12. I habe to separate its baby sibling OG who is still in seeding stage and will require to stay on the 18/6 cycle. I will need more room in my patio! I think im gonna have to have two tents soon!

Growth tip is doing well and a tad bit taller and fuller each day. All the other mature leaves are doing well. The Growth nodes below are all Growthing so rapidly! I'm often looking for Growth in Height but I'm also reading that skywalker strains are high yielding plants so they may not be so tall but will bush out like crazy. I'm hoping so and I plan to cut the tip after a few weeks and let it focus its Growth on all the bottom Growth nodes. I don't have a lot of tall space nor width space at the moment but I know in a month or two I might need to expand my tent a bit or prune for fit more or less I. The tent I have. A short but fruitful plant is what I'm hoping for. That is until I can for sure know that this was a feminized seed and it's its an auto flower or not. Either way, this plant is loved so much already

Started my outdoor grow tent with materials I already had (reporpused an old shelf and covered the back with thick cardboard. My grow lights are a minimal design with spectrum lighting at about 13 inches over the top of the plant. I don't have a humidity or temperature meter yet but I'm using my phone with the weather to determine the current humidity outside has been ranging from 70%- 85% and temperature has been ranging from mid 50's to mid or low 70 degrees fahrenheit. The mylar film did not deliver with my grow lights but I will be installing that asap. I will update once I've got that set up.
