10L dtw ph 6-7 Final watering
Well, I haven't done the best on keeping up with updates this passed almost month but I have cliff notes. Basically its been a challange keeping humidity in check so I I got a dehumidifier and it kind of works. I should have spent more on it but oh well im gonna do better next go round. Temp was a problem but I got a portable ac unit and its doing great. I know its gonna hit the electric bill tho so thats great. Ive got insane airflow to counteract the humidity so we're good there. Ive been watering 10l like usual but just longer drybacks. I watered for the last time friday. Ive been slowly getting it colder and colder its currently 68-70° and around 50-55% lights on. Lights off its been 60-62° 65% humidity 🙂🔫. Its ok with the airflow but still worries me. Less than a week, were on the home stretch.

Well I've not had an update in w couple weeks but both plants are steadily drinking 8L DTW PH 6-7 every 2-3 days. Today I did the middle of flower top dressing and watered with the usual amount. Buds are stacking really well and we're probably going to be done around week 9 if I had to guess.

Unfortunately I didnt measure this time. Im guessing roughly 10L per plant but I cant be sure🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️. [email protected]
Going smooth still, I watered on sunday or monday I cant remember. 8L DTW [email protected]. I also watered Tuesday but I actually went to runoff, probably around 10L. I also added recharge as i usually do every 7-10 days. I've only watered to runoff a couple times before so im not worried about it but I am holding out to water till they droop a bit and the soil is drier. Im not doing it tomorrow unless they fall a bit more. Saturday or even Sunday will be the day not sure but ill add it when I do.
8L DTW [email protected] I didnt mean to but this watering was to runoff.
I've been steadily watering both plants with 8L-9L of DTW ph 6-7. This morning I did the early flower defoliation and Lollipopping. I took roughly 40% of the total mas of the plant and let me tell you there's still PLENTY there. Unfortunately against my better judgment I took both plants out from under the netting. When I put them back in ended up breaking off the top of a main. It wasn't that big of a main and its not like there's a ton more. 61 to be exact but still a bummer. Oh well I guess. For now im dialing back the humidity more and more while trying to bring the temp down. Which is a bit of a struggle, the lights are now at 90% strength and are putting off the heat! I think i have it dialed in somewhat but its a constant battle. Either way the plants are loving it and are doing well.
Both plants have been watered with 9L DTW [email protected]. They're are starting to really drink and im giving them all they want. I was told that the first week of flower doesn't really count since they are in a transition phase and I believe it! They're nearing the end of the first week and i can see they're starting to lighten i color from backing off the nitrogen and now starting to stretch. Its only the begining but you can tell that the transition is nearing its end and they're stretching much more vigorously as they truly move into flower. Im seeing them go from about 85% WC to 25% WC showing that they are thirsty and healthy! Im not going to tuck them under the trellis net till Saturday(its Tuesday) to let them kind of relax. I plan on doing a light defol Saturday along with getting them under the net. As always so far so good, let's hope it stays that way!

Today is day 1 of flower. The lights have been switched to 12/12 8am-8pm along with getting watered with 8L DTW [email protected]. I've been slowly spreading out both plants to fill the scrog net and were getting close. Id say another week or so and it'll be full edge to edge. I may have to setup a second scrog net but I'll make that decision later after the stretch period is over. For now it'll be the same process of tucking/bending branches and watering when dry.

Pre-flower Lollipopping
Pre-flower defol
Since the last update I've watered the plants with 6L dtw @6.8ph, that was 2 days ago on day 86. Today on day 88 I've had a busy morning. I decided it was time to do both pre-flower Lollipopping and defoliation on both plants. We're only 5 days away from flower which will mark 11 full week of veg so I think this is as good a time as any to get it done. At the same time I lowered my scrog net and started tucking everything down. I dont know if I need to lower it more or not but I figured, since these plants are supposed to stretch 2-3x their starting height i need to keep them low. They're still ok on water i think i may be over doing it a little so im going to wait till tomorrow or the following day. We'll see.

Nothing to crazy to report. I've turned up the lights to 75% and they're about 27in away since theyre kind of short. I want them stretch so I can keep tucking them and get them to fill the tent out the tent. Tonight is also when I start a 16/8 light cycle for this last week before flower.
1/2tsp per gallon
1 gallon DTW PH6.8
Still just chillin. Both plants got 2 gallons of DTW @6.5ph, thats all. I set up my scrog net with plant stakes woven through each hole on all 4 sides of the net to stretch it out even farther. The plants are about 3.5in away from it but I still have 13 days till I flip to flower, give ot take. I did move all 5 of my fans around and made sure there is plenty of movie air in the tent. Its currently staying between 83°-78° and 67%-63%.

On the 27th (Day 76) I transplanted both p1 and p2 from 5 gallon fabric pots to their new 10 gallon fabric pots. I also tied all the branches down to the outside of the pots to open them up a bit more. They were both given 2 gallons of DTW @6.6ph. Currently theyre doing very well, they bounced back nicely overnight and are going to be ready to scrog soon. Im 2 more weeks away from the flip to flower on June 13th so we're on cruise control now and just get water when they need it, every 2-3 days.

I need to do this more often. A fair amount has happened since day 66. On day 67 I watered with 3L of DTW @6.8 for p1 and 6.5 for p2. Then on day 69 I watered again with 4L DTW [email protected] for p2 and p1 got 2L DTW [email protected]. Now today I watered with about 3L of DTW @6.7 for both plants along with a dose or recharge. I also a little more LST plus I did a pre flower defoliation and stripped both plants back quite a bit, a bit too much but I still have 3 more weeks in veg to make up for it. Im going to do another before flip along with a scrog net. They've been happy and healthy so I must be doing it right enough right? For now they're cruisin!

That last watering made both plants very happy! They're looking great aside from a few leaves getting too close to my heater. I did a fair amount of LST this morning and fanned out both plants even more in preparation for the 5x5. I have some high hopes for the amount of space I'll be able to cover with only 2 plants! Everything should be here between Friday the 9th and Monday the 12th. I do need to get x2 7g pots for them so I can do one final transplant then give them maybe 2 more weeks to get ready and I'll send them to flower and they should explode with growth! I can't wait!
Both plants got watered today p1 got 1l [email protected] p2 got 1.5l [email protected]. Unfortunately p2 get some heat burn that fried parts of a couple leaves but hopefully it won't hurt it to bad. I planned on doing another defol on it soon maybe Friday or Saturday depending on what they look like. For now theyre good and i turned the heater down and tried to move where it was hitting on the plant.
1l DTW @6.45ph
Ok, i lied they were good to water this morning, so p1 got 1.5L DTW [email protected] and p2 got 2L DTW [email protected]. I'm thinking im goi g ro have to transplant again into 7g pots on because I'll have to mix up they're bloom mix but I also plan to veg them for quite a bit longer since I have a whole 5x5 to fill out with just 2 plants. This is week 6 of veg and im thinking I may need another 4 maybe even 5 weeks to get it done. When I get closer I'll make the decision I may just amend then an extra time and only partially fill the tent. For now I'll leave that as TBD. Other than that it's going pretty well, they seem to be happy and healthy although I with p1 would get a move on but I made some mistakes and set it back a ton. P2 is growing really nicely and they both have very strong mains and branches. Hopefully new tent new tent will be here soon and I can set them up in theyre new home!
1.5L DTW ph6.1
Still doing well, did my lite defol on p2 and topped p1 for the last time. Come to find out I've topped to 32 tops...oh well. Good thing is i bought a 5x5 and I'm going to be moving these plants into that tent as soon as it shows up and I can get it put together. I'm gonna let this things get huge in the new tent. I went from wanting to get 2oz a plant to can I get 4 or even 5oz a plant?? We'll see! As for watering they're still ok for now. I was hoping they'd be ready but I did go to runoff so they had extra water so i wont be watering till tomorrow or even Monday
Last topping. Come to find out i believe I've gone passed 16 tops and both plants have 32😅😅 oh well.
My plants have been getting some burn tips, I assume the cause is my ph is off in the plants. Pheno 1 is sitting just shy of ph 6(5.95ph) while Pheno 2 is sitting nicely at 6.7ph. I watered to Runoff (2c exactly) which isn't the norm with living soil but I needed to know where I was at so I could figure out what is going on and if I can fix it. Which I did...I think. I watered both plants with 1 full gallon of DTW with .5tsp of recharge per plant. They both still look happy. Pheno 2 over pheno 1 looks better but all plants are different. I've topped p2 as much as I wanting and I believe p1 needs one more topping. I'm not sure that I want to do that but we'll see when they get closer and I'll go from there. P2 is now ready to flip but I'm waiting on p1 to catch up. I think I may do a defol on p2 around the same time as pj's last topping. For now they're good and ill keep an eye on them as always!
1g DTW un ph-ed
Watered again today 4c DTW ph @6.6. I went ahead and topped the plants, they should be up to 16 tops on plant #2 and 8 on plant #1. I'll leave #2 alone and I'll top #1 once more. I do plan to take it to May 9th (7wks of veg) and then I'll flip them to flower.
4c DTW @6.6 ph
Topped all but 4, they're just growing slower than the rest. I'll finish them off in 2 or 3 days.
.5g DTW @6.7ph
Nothing too crazy yet, just another watering. ~3c DCT @ 6.1 ph. I've been turning up light intensity in 5% increments daily from 60% to the current 95% setting. Tomorrow will be set to 100%. If needed i have another light is can hang for even more light. Other than that they're growing well. I'm still LST daily just trying to get them to fill out they're pots with even coverage. I did find a small weed growing with my weed lol I plucked it and I'll be looking out for others as the days go by.
3c DTW @6.1ph
Nothing to crazy to report in. I watered yesterday with the usual DTW(declorinated tap water) with a ph of 6.8. I didn't measure how much I added but I did a normal watering, maybe 3c worth. I'm still doing a bunch of LST to get the plants spread out to fill the whole pot. We're in week 6 total(day 37) but today makes 4 weeks in veg. Being that this is a sativa I'm reading that I need to flip them to flower now but I want to wait till the entire pot Is filled the way I envision. So with that being said I do still plan to veg for another week if not 2. One week may be enough to do it but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I know I need to be careful since these will be stretching a ton and I'm in a 2x2 for this whole run. Again we'll see how it looks after another week.
~1.5cups give or take of 6.6ph DTW
I was on the fence about taking the larger fan leaves from this plant but I decided to go ahead and do it. Hopefully it'll stunt the plant some and give my other one time to catch up a little.
Alright, since the transplant I've only been doing LST trying to spread them out and get them to fill out the entire 5g pot. Once that happenes I'm going to flip to flower. I forgot these plants get tall and I'm in a 2x2 so I need to make sure I don't veg too long. I do plan to top both plants one more time before I call it. I did water both plants with 3c of declorinated tap water 6.6ph, about 700ml. I swapped my setup to a different part of the room and I rewired the whole tent and made it much cleaner. I bought a shelf to put everything on and now it's all compact and looks great. Anyway I'll continue the LST for as long as I need and we'll go from there!
Durban Poison #1 has 16 tops. I'm going to stop there
3c of declorinated tap water 6.6ph, about 700ml
So...I didn't leave them alone, and I fucked it up. I broke a main and I decided to abandon the 4 mains and go for the normal 2 tops. On top of that while trying to train them I split a stem but it's actually not effected the plant much. I also transplanted them both into 5g fabric pots this morning and watered them in very lightly. Just enough to set them in place in a way. I added a nice sprinkling mycro to the roots and the hole they went in. I didn't measure the water but it was ph balanced to 6.5 maybe 4-6oz if I had to guess. That will be the last watering for a bit. They were still fairly moist when I took them from the smaller pots and the roots looked great, nice and white and they have started to get root bound. I could have waited another week or so I bet but oh well we're here now. NOW I WILL LEAVE THEM ALONE. I PROMISE.🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤷♂️
Moved from 6inx6in plastic pot into a 5g fabric pot
4-6oz declorinated tap water 6.5ph
Bot plants have been staked down
Topping back down to 2 mains cause of a break
Still going strong, I haven't watered since Wednesday because I found 5 tiny tiny side tips getting yellow/brown. I asked a buddy for some advice and I was told to leave them alone lol. So I have been and today they started to slightly droop so i decided to go ahead and give them 6.5ph declorinated tap water 180ml or 6floz. I did top them again which may have been a bit early but to late now, we cant go back! We'll see what happenes and I'll give it a solid week if not longer before i touch them so they can grow to the point i can start training them down. I'm going for a total of 16 tops per plant. Then I'll send them into flower. This whole passed week has been incredibly rainy and some bad weather. The power went out a few times but luckily I had a small flashlight to keep a little something on them for light. It was probably a total of 3-4hrs without power if that. It went out durning their daytime schedule so they're fine just had me a bit nervous ngl. So for now just more waiting and hopefully this coming week/weekend i can transplant them into their 5g fabric pots.
Well today was topping day. I topped both plants down to the 2 closest together nodes and i snipped them! After countless hours of research i decided to go with 4 mains instead of 2 so we'll see how it goes! I was nervous but i sanitized my snips with 91% rubbing alcohol and got it done. I added a couple fly traps and I watered with 6.6ph declorinated tap water 230ml or 8floz each. I also rubbed peppermint oil around the pots and on the tray to keep pests away.
First topping
6.6ph declorinated tap water 230ml or 8floz
Alright so both plants are doing really well. Very healthy looking and growing nicely. On sunday (2 days ago) I saw a single fungus gnat so I got some diatomaceous earth to sprinkle on both plants the next time I water. Speaking of, yesterday I watered both plants each with 6.7ph declorinated tap water 230ml or 8floz
Side note. I was using a gallon that was sitting at 6.8ph and noticed it was cloudy. I poured it out and it smelled horrible! Idk what happened but I dumped it out and cleaned everything I used then got another good gallon of water and continued with watering. I'll keep on the look out for that again and try to make sure it doesn't happen again. Both plants have 4 nodes each just pheno #1 is still growing faster than pheno #2.
8floz ph to 6.7
So the seedlings have gotten they're 1st set of 5 point leaves which means they are no longer seedlings they're officially in early veg! I've left the temp the same sitting 77-81° but I've lowered the humidity to 50-55% it goes in the high 40s sometimes but that's ok. I've also lowered the light from 36" above top sites to 24". Last I've gone from 50% Light (300ppfd) to 60% Light (400ppfd). They're still good on water as far as I can tell so I'll check again tomorrow.
Yesterday I watered both plants same as before 6.6ph declorinated tap water 160ml or 5.5floz each. One is still behind on growth but again that will be a problem the deal with down the line. I had to add a small support for both plants. One worked one didn't and now i have a small bend but she's back standing straight and hopefully that will straighten the whole plant out in the future. The tent is staying nice and consistent in the 77-81° range but the humidity is still a bit shaky. I'd like it to be closer to 55-60% but it yoyos between 55-65%. Not a huge deal I just don't like more than a 5-7%/° change. I need to change out the water in the humidifier and give it a clean sometime this weekend. I'll probably water on Sunday or Monday onday depending on how they feel.
I watered yesterday with 6.6ph declorinated tap water 160ml or 5.5floz each. They're looking great so far. One is growing faster than the other, but I'll just figure that out and fix it when they're farther along closer to their first top and mainline, heat is perfect. Humidity is a little high. Need to turn it down other than that I am getting ready to start a light schedule of 18/6. Starting tomorrow, I plan to do 3pm-8am for Day time and 8am-3pm nighttime. When they're ready for flower I'll change to 12/12 and do 8am-8pm for Day and 8pm-8am night. For now I'm having some problems with the controller still going offline but it believe it is from water getting into the connector. I blew them out and put all the cords outside of the tent. When I transplant into 5g pots I'm going to redo all of the wiring and tent in general so it's in its final form to take the plants through harvest and drying.
For some reason the ggs controller keeps going offline but it seems to be good now. The plants are both doing well and still don't need water. Humidity and temp are both in a pretty perfect range. The light is still set at 50% so, so far so good.
So yesterday my new heater came in and I got it setup along with swapping all of the plug ins to a power strip. The tent is only doing 5° temp swings which it was better and same for the humidity it's staying within 5% of my target. They're both developing an additional 2 sets of leaves to the 2 it currently had. After getting everything dialed in I noticed that my front plants leaf tip was starting to yellow. I felt the dirt and it was dry so they've both been watered with ~3/4cup of 6.8PH declorinated tap water.
So far so good! They're growing well and look to be completely healthy. So I bought some fans... . I couldn't help it. So those came in, my humidifier finally came and a new heater came. The fans are great but I'm down a connector and cable so I just have to turn my second fan on myself. First world problems ik. The humidifier, well it does work but it's inaccurate and have a wild swing of up to 15%. It blows but I waited this long for it and I don't want to deal with the people. The heater though. That was a different story. Complete dogshit! It wont heat! Im sending it back amd a different unit will be here tomorrow then hopefully i can get the tent dialed in completely and we can grow some top shelf bud! Anyway, the soil started to mold with the vary light white colored puffs. Super minimal and light. So I added a little squirt of peroxide into some water and water the seedlings a little. The mold is gone and as I said they're doing great.
Currently in seedling stage trying to keep the temps between 75-85°F during the day and 68-75°F at night.
Also fighting the humidity trying to keep it between 70-80% which is tough with the shit humidifier i bought but the new one should be here Wednesday and the fans will be here tomorrow. So far it's sitting within range but at the low ends. In range is in range though.
Both seeds popped and grew through the cotton pads but I was able to remove them without damaging the tap roots. They're in gia green living soil mixed with plenty of extra worm castings and gia green 4-4-4 all purpose. They're in the new pots which they'll stay in for the next month or so. They have a small humidity dome and have been placed in the tent in their drainage trays.
The seeds are done soaking and are now in between cotton pads in a sandwich bag. That's inside of 2 fabric pots and now it's sitting in the grow tent at about 70°F.
Seeds are in the water germinating should be there till tomorrow morning.
