Teeny bit of defoliation
Growing like mad
1.2gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.64, out at 6.06 (weird it’s the same as lemon)
1.2gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.61, out at 6.23
1.2gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.51, out at 6.14. Try watering at 4 days - not getting as much run off as before (20% of what went in)
1.2gal plan pH’d water, in at 6.51, out at 6.10
1.2gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.67, out at 6.10
1.2gals plain pH’d water, in at 6.32, out at 6.12. No more nutes; final flush til harvest.
1gal nute pH’d water + 0.2 gal plain, in at 6.14, out at 6.10.
1.2 plain pH’d water, in at 6.27, out at 6.28. Wow…
1.2 gal nute pH’d water, in at 6.38, out at 6.04
1.2gal plain pH’d water,in at 6.13, out at 6.37. Right on the money
Did a little bit of defoliating on each, maybe 2 leaves on the cherry, 5 on the lemon. Lemon will likely have the smaller yield here so I’m trying to expose as much light as possible to bid sites without stressing the plant further
1.2gal nute pH’d water, in at 5.78 (overdid the drops a little), out at 6.05. Keep this above 6 going in!
1.2gal nute pH’d water, in at 6.33, out at 6.3
1.2gla plain pH’d water, in at 6.5, out at 6.7
Defoliated before watering
1.25 plain pH’d water, in at 6.44, out at 6.64
1.25gal pH’d nute water, in at 6.36 (no adjustment necessary, seems bloom mix is slightly acidic), out at 6.33
1gal plain pH’d water, in at 5.95, out at 6.91
1gal ph’d nute water, in at 6.33, out at 6.55. This is the new nute batch for flowering
3gal, 7.5 cal-mag, 15ml micro, 7.5ml gro, 22.5ml bloom. No watering today.
1 gal plain pH’d water in at 6.24, out at 6.93
1gal pH’d nute water, in at 6.65, out at … wasn’t enough to capture runoff. Was rushing tonight and didn’t add more water to compensate
1gal nute pH’d water. In at 6.52, out at 6.60
1gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.86, out at 7.08. BRING PH DOWN FURTHER NEXT TIME
Cherry blossom is 24” off the floor, lemon pie is 23”. 26” is time to switch to 12/12, flower power!
1gal nute pH’d water (about 3/4 of which was the new Nov 25th batch), in at 6.55ish, out at 6.63. Odd, like the lemon pie, this went up a tiny bit!
1.0gal plain pH’d water, in at 6.95 , out at 6.6
0.75gal nute water, in at 6.72, out at 6.3.
0.75gal of plain pH’d water. In at 7.17, out at 6.64. Give nutes next time.
pH’d in at 6.93, run off at 6.35. 1 gallon, .75gal is better as there was too much runoff with one gal
23:25 pillows the brightness back to 8. They were a little droopy.
1/2 gal of pH’d plain water. About 7.1 going in, 6.2 coming out.
Turned on new dehumidifier today with a setting of 65%. Will keep an eye out on room humidity/temp at night when humidity seems to increase.
No watering today. Will flush plants tomorrow with plain pH’d water.
17:30 increased the light brightness to 7.0 and raised lights to 30” above canopy. The book says to increase brightness BEFORE lowering down to plants. Also noticed a tiny bit of weed smell in the basement
Also raised the lights again to keep the canopy 15” from below.
20:45 check the plants and both looked droopy on top. Pulled the lights up about 10” and moved the brightness down just a teeny bit from like 6 to 5.8ish. We’ll see. Temp in there was 71F and 49% humidity.
21:45 moved the bottom fan onto the floor so that it wasn’t blowing directly on the leaves of either plant. Could be the twisty activity on the e cherry blossom was due to wind. Hard to say if the leaves “awayl from the beeeze weren’t affected as I rotate the pants every few days to ensure equal light.
Watered with non-CalMag mix as there wasn’t a lot of water left in e nute jug. Emptied all contents in Cherry Blossom: 1.8L. She’s looking good. Some taco’ing at the top but not other signs of light stress. Wondering if it’s the flux in temp at night as it’s cold in the basement without the grow light on.
Looking good, don’t see dropping either after backing the lights off yesterday evening.
1.5L nute water. Both looking good
New batch of nute water! 1.5L each with visible runoff from both. pH going on was 6.62. Didn’t measure outbound as last time was fine
DID NOT water anything today with this mix.
Watered in as part of transplanting but only saw a little bit of runoff. Could definitely hear the water running through the new mix though. Would’ve added more but ran out of the nute water batch.
Also, now that the furnace is going on in the cold weather, noticing that the humidity is dropping quite a bit.
pH of the water today was a little above 7. Added a teeny bit of pH down to get it just over 6.
Nute water. We’ll see how it goes for transplanting in a couple days
Good run off. Looked like she could use a little attention. Still not looking as heathy as I think she could but doing way better than before. Maybe transplanting tomorrow to a 5 gal with her lemon pie sister
Nute water appears to be making a difference
Nute water from a measuring cup this time. Saw a little run off. pH in was 6.6ish, and coming out it was the same - by color test. Not enough runoff to test with the pen
New nute mix (more nutes, see environment log for Oct 11). Was definitely dry
Nute water. Thing still looks like a tiny but it’s alive
Nute water
Watered with nute water
No drainage but soil is damp after watering from nute mix. Added a little bit of topsoil to cover what looked like an exposed root
Applied nutrient water as prep’d on Sept 20, ‘21. Medium wasn’t completely dried out but the plant is looking desperate
