Reusing soil from last grow, Coast of Maine (CoM) Stonington Blend, cut with 1 qt pumice and 1 qt vermiculite, then amended with 1 cup of Earthworm Castings, 1 cup CoM Fish Bone Meal, 1 cup CoM Plant Food, 3 tbs Mykos, 2 tbs Azos, and 2 tbs Stoned Dust. Also created a Solo cup sized seed bed of CoM Sprout Island Blend Seed Starter when filling the pot.

Tested soil pH with my soil pH meter to 5.9. Still low so pH’d feed water to 7.06 to try and bring it up some. Watering generated about 24 oz of runof, tested runoff pH to 6.22.

I’ve noted the plant drooping hours before lights out. Pics show what I’m seeing. I’ve been pushing the lights a bit, that could be the issue, so decided to back off some. Raised lights to 15” and adjusted both down to 6, DLI 45.2.

This girl has done some stretching over this week. Some gentle LST continues. She’s grown into the lights some, now at 15”, DLI 46.1.

I was tweaking LST early this afternoon and broke a branch. I taped it and braced it. Went back this evening and it was obvious it wasn’t taking. I decided to cut my loss and take her out of the way so the plant can focus on healthy growth… 🙁

Tested runoff to 5.9. Would like to see it a point or 2 over 6. Plan is to continue to pH feed to high 6 range up to 7 generating a liter or so of runoff each time. Also monitoring soil pH directly with my soil pH meter, currently reading 6.1.
These pics were shot several hours after feeding. She has perked up nicely, and symptoms noted yesterday have eased some. She is praying to the light again… 🌱😎

She’s looking pretty good, now a week after the flush though I’m noting a few leaves starting to turn up at the edges, and maybe taco-ing a bit. This could be a reaction to me bumping up the lights 2 days ago so bumping them back down to 5. Will give her a day to respond. It could also be the soil pH dropping again and/or the beginnings of a magnesium deficiency. Will address both of those possibilities in a feeding tomorrow.
