The trees are looking beautiful! Bud sites are forming and look healthy on each plant. Plant #3 is noticeably shorter than the other two plants and because of that, it is receiving less light. I have tried to angle the light to be closer to #3, but I can only do so much. I’m going to try raising the plant a few inches. Plant #1 has mold forming on its lower leaves. Whenever I see a moldy leaf, I pluck it and the surrounding leaves as well, but so far, it seems the mold returns every week or so. I am keeping an extremely close eye on the situation, and may amputate two branches of the mold continues into the late flowering stage. Plant #2 is much thicker than the other two, and the lower Bud sights are much more covered with foliage.

I did a rather large defoliation on all plants. Some needed it more than others, but they are all close to equal now in terms of their foliage and branches. I noticed some leaves beginning to have necrosis, especially near the medium and lower branches. I cleared out all surrounding foliage to prevent the spread of any rot. It appeared to be a heavy amount of removal, but I believe it was necessary. I wish I had done it prior to switching the light period, but better late than never.

The trees are looking much better since repotting into 5 gallon buckets. The soil is still damp as of 10am so I will be checking tonight to see if it needs watering, or possibly may need to change watering schedule to once every three days. There is still some discoloration on older leaves of all three plants. I am hoping it will go away and that all PH and nutrient issues are solved.

Plants 2 and 3 seem to be drying out rather quickly. Going to increase the amount of water when watering. I also, for the first time, balanced the PH of the water before watering. It was low. Hoping to see plants do much better.

I believe the nutrient deficiency is a magnesium problem. It’s related to over-watering and low PH. I am going to make sure the soil is dry before the next few waterings. I’ll also be ordering PH up.

I noticed some discoloration on some leaves among all plants. The discoloration is slight yellowing in blotchy patterns among the leaves of some lower branches. Used bush doctor sledgehammer and big bloom to flush the root system.

Pinched off two dying leaves. These were the plants first leaves that were stuck under the shell of the seed. They have been messed up the entire time. I feel they may have been contributing to the slow growth of the plant.

One of the plants has grown so much on top that it became top heavy. I’ve supported the plant with toothpicks for now, but I am temporarily disabling the oscillating fan to give the plants a rest from the new and never ending wind. I will turn it back on tomorrow.

I added a different, darker type of dirt on top of the soil. The soil that the plants were potted in originally doesn’t absorb water very well and it very loose. The top soil now should hold the seedlings in place better and will hopefully make the transition to 5 gallon buckets a bit easier.

Basement tent is mostly finished. I still need to put the Mylar on the tent walls to cover up tinfoil. Humidifier is running and has brought the humidity up to 70% but has massive fluctuations (down to 16%) due to water running out quickly. Temperature of the tent is on the cooler side, maxing out around 75 degrees. However, 3 of the T5 lights were replaced today and may generate more heat. Additionally, a heater has been placed in the basement.
