Royal AK, also known as AK 47, is a highly regarded cannabis strain celebrated for its simplicity in cultivation and consistently reliable results. Its manageable height makes it suitable for indoor setups, although growers should be mindful of its potent, pervasive aroma—a complex blend of sweet berry, diesel, and petroleum notes. Thriving both indoors and outdoors, Royal AK is a robust plant that produces dependable yields season after season.Despite being a Sativa-dominant hybrid (65% Sativa, 35% Indica), it offers a balanced experience, delivering both a clear, uplifting head high and a gentle body relaxation. Its flavor is unique, combining sugary sweetness with hints of stale pine, making it distinctive among modern strains. The strain earned its “AK 47” nickname not for aggression but for its reputation as a “one-hit wonder,” capable of delivering strong effects even in small doses.Royal AK flowers quickly for a Sativa, with a budding period of 8–9 weeks. It produces dense, resin-coated buds with dark green and yellowish tones, accented by reddish-brown hairs. Indoor plants reach heights of 80–140 cm, while outdoor specimens grow between 130–170 cm, with harvests typically in early October. Indoor yields range from 525–575 grams per plant, and outdoor yields can reach 600–650 grams. This strain has earned wide acclaim, winning 16 awards in Cannabis competitions, including High Times Indica Strain of the Year in 2003, and consistently impressing with its potent, long-lasting high. With a THC content of around 18%, Royal AK offers an exceptional combination of cerebral stimulation and body relaxation, making it a favorite for both growers and smokers alike.Data Sheet:THC: 19%
