Burp your buds

During the first week of curing, regardless of humidity level, open the containers once or twice a day for a couple minutes—this is called burping. This releases moisture and replenishes oxygen inside the container.

If you notice an odor of ammonia when opening a container, it means the buds are not dry enough and anaerobic bacteria are consuming them, which will lead to moldy, rotten cannabis. Leave the lid off for a day and reseal tomorrow.

After the first week, burp containers only once every few days.

How long does it take to cure cannabis?

After two to four weeks in containers, your cannabis should be cured enough to give you a flavorful, aromatic, and quality experience. Some people prefer to cure for four to eight weeks, and some strains even benefit from six months or more of curing.

Do did full watering today. Looks like they are needing water a day sooner now that I have the humidity correct in the outside room. When I water the plants they take on a half a quart more now and that's like a 5% to 10% run off. So with they humidity is better than the soil drys out better or the plants are drinking more. Probably both. Usually on day 4 my moisture meter would be a little below one and zero being dry. But today it was bone dry. Pots get much heavier now also.

Before going to I wanted to make sure the environment could get down to 50% humidity. Being that my basement is underground I could not get under 60% humidity. Purchased a 22 pint GE dehumidifier. Now the exterior room is down to 50% humidity. Inside the tent is now 55% humidity. Tomorrow I will decrease the inside of the tent to 50% humidity. Then I will change the light cycle to 12 and 12. Then turn up my LED lights to 100%.

Just learned something new today. So with watering. You need to first spray the soil down. Then wait five minutes. Then do the full watering 1 quart. Soil is hydrophobic when it's dry so it kinda bounces off. I was pre misting but not waiting the five minutes. So that's what I do. Cause I was noticing when I woulddo a full some dry soil would bounce up before a misting. And over watering is more about how long you wait for to do the next watering. These vent bags the shit just squirts out that it don't want so you can't really over water them. It's just how how often you water them. Also you don't want to water down in the center of the plant. more along the edges if you can help it
