Kratky: Filled water and added 1/4 ML of PH down. PH at 5.8.
Aero garden: Filled water and added 1.25 ML of PH down. PH at 5.8
Both plants are touching the lights and we can’t move the light up anymore unless we move the fan, so we either need to move the fan or top, but both of them def need to be trimmed!

Nota
We went 2 days without checking the plants and that was a terrible idea.
The lights were off. The time of Am/pm was switched. When I turned the lights back on I was sad to see that many of the top leaves were discolored. Yellowing with brown tips and sides… also the ones touching the top light had light burn. They plants did not look great.
Bonnie’s Ph Was high at 7.2, and the water was low. I added more water and about 4 ml of “grow” to the reservoir as I suspect the brown tips may be K deficiency. The ph was still high so I added 2 ml of ph down, which brought it to 5.9ph.
Babe’s ph was also high at 7.1 and most of the water was gone, less than 200 ml remained. Thankfully Babe shows very minimal signs of nutrient deficiency so I added 1.5 ml of grow and filled the water to 500ml. I added less than 1 ml of ph down and it brought it down a bit much at 4.7. I added 100 ml more water to 600ml and it brought the ph up a bit to 5. I suspect it will likely rise again. Babe was be t forward so I turned her around and slightly bent the top of the stem to face the light.

Bonnie’s Ph was high today at 6.9, so we added 1/2 ml of ph down, brought the ph to 6.3. Added another 1/2 ml of ph down and it stayed at 6.3. Added another 1/2ml and it read as 6.
Babe’s ph was 6.1, we didn’t adjust the ph today. Babe seems to be drinking about 100ml of water per day.

Also decided to cut off the bottom nodes from Babe, and also some of the larger leaves which are blocking the light from the smaller leaves.
Nota
We arrived after weekend vacation to find the lights off in the grow tent, turned out the clock on the aerogarden was wrong so the cycles were still 18 hours, just at different times than we had planned.
Babes PH was high at 6.9, we added water and PH Down and it was 5.4 after.
Bonnies PH was alright at 6.2, a small drop of PH down was added, we did not retest to check PH after. We did not need to add water.
Both plants are thriving and could use a trim.

Nota
PH was high today. In the kratky (Babe) we decided to just do a water and nute change with a small amount of ph Up. Ph was at 5.2, will likely rise.
In the aerogarden the water level was low, PH was high at around 7.4, Ppms were low, so we added 3ml of CalMag+ and 3ml of grow. This brought down the ph to 6.4. Will check again tomorrow and adjust as needed.
They both look very happy and healthy! The leaves have spread out after the trim and grown large. Babe has gotten very tall! Happy plants.

Nota
Great growth!
Bonnie looks ready for a trim again!
Both plants had a VERY high PH! Over 7+ so I added water and CalMag and a bit of micro to try to bring down the ph. It didn’t lower it much. I was worried about adding too much nutrient so I added a few drops of vinegar to each, now the PH is way too low at just barely over 4.
I went ahead and did a full water change on Babe, added 1ml of each nutrient plus a few drops of enzyme. The ph was too low after, so I added a few drops of PH up, and now it’s good at about 5.7 or so for Babe.
We still need to do a full water change on Bonnie.

Humidity was high today at 76% in the tent, so I did not refill the humidifier, going to check again tomorrow to see what the natural humidity is, and if it’s low we’ll run the humidifier again.

Growth is abundant! Plants are definitely looking healthy and better. PH was low today, so we added some PH UP.
Bonnie is larger than ever and has so many leaves shading others, so we gave her a trim. We cut off the bottom nodes, and this time we chose an axis and cut off all the rest. She will now be growing side to side, which will better fit the aerogarden setup.
Babe is so large we decided to go ahead and remove her from the aerogarden and set her up into a kratky jar with the same nutrients and enzymes. Fingers crossed that this one thrives in her new environment!
I did notice a small group of yellow spots on one of babes leaves, hoping that it is from that small period of calcium deficiency that we corrected.

The one that was in the crappy sponge looks *slightly* longer and a tiny bit stronger but still about the same. It was curled up in the pod so I moved the top to stick outside of the pod into the light. Hopefully that helps it.
