With room temps around 70 during light hours, mite reproduction is hopefully slow enough to deal with non destructively.

Runoff about 500mills. I'm genuinely starting to think that you cannot dial in soil pH using water. Despite slowly increasing my watering pH up to 7.0, runoff pH remains constant at 6.2-6.3. I'm beginning to suspect that soil amendments are the only dependable way to control pH.

Hoping to fix a few things this watering. Throwing some nitrate rich cal mag to fix potential deficiencies and watering with a high pH of 6.95 to try and bring the pH up some from the last reading of 6.3 Plants look like they've seen better days 😅

Tested pH of runoff. My watering was 6.62, runoff tested twice, initial reading was 6.13 and a second reading of 6.22 was observed an hour later when I went to remove the plant from the water

Ppms started at around 70, ended around the same as my tap water, 700-800. No clue what that means 😁

Nota

Noticed some Nute burn and light stress today. Been neglecting both plants due to lack of time, did not pull light up in time. Raised it most of the way up and increased the % to hit ~500umols at canopy level.

Will be getting pH meter later today to test runoff. Hopefully will help with not overdoing the nutes.

Restarted the LST since the broken stem. Plant is longer than the other one owing to the pause in LST. Fan leaves on both lower and upper growth seem larger too. Very curious.
