Sitting in a 5 gal Rain Science bag, filled with 4 gals CoM SB, 1/2 gal Coco, 1 qt Pumice, and 1 qt Vermiculite, blended together with 6 tbs Mykos and 3 tbs Azos. The bottom gallon of this mix is enhanced with 1 cup Worm Castings, 1/2 cup CoM Plant Food, 1/4 cup CoM Fish Bone Meal, and 1 tbs Stoned Dust. In the center of the pot is a Solo cup size seed bed of CoM Sprout Island Seed Starter. Before droppin* the seed the pot was soaked with 1 gal of RO water with 2 cups of spring water mixed in, with 2 drops of BMC (Biological Mosquito Control) blended in as a fungus gnat preventative, then pH’d to 6.44.

12 weeks, D85. I’m tempted to chop her.… but hesitant mainly because trichs don’t really look ready, but they haven’t changed much if at all in the last week. If you zoom in on some of the buds in the full shot you’ll see some foxtailing going on. Thinking that could be light stress so bumped down my light. All that and she drank up the last gallon in 3 days…

I checked her yesterday evening and she had made no visible progress in pushing off the shell so I decided to help her. Used to small sanitized tweezers to pinch each side, gently finished opening her up and removed the shell. She’s looking great this morning… 🌱😎

She’s made good progress overnight. Will give her some more time to finish shedding that shell on her own. Moved her to seedling status… I went ahead and raised the light to 18”, still on 1, to get into ‘seedling mode’.

My thought here, she escaped the soil a little too quick as I think that journey to the surface helps to break loose the shell. She was a good half inch below the surface but I may not have covered her enough. One of the fun things about learning to garden is you just never stop learning lessons… 🌱😎

About 7 hours later I saw no progress so decided to give her an assist. Zooming in there may be some remnants still in the way, will check her in a few hours, see if she’s opening up…
